ICANN approved two new domains

ICANN has approved the introduction of two new national domains, .CW and .SX. These domain names will belong to the island nations of Curaçao and Saint Martin, which became independent last year following the dissolution of the Netherlands Antilles.

At the same time, the Netherlands Antilles' .NA domain will be removed from the root zone as the domain of a non-existent country. The same fate befell Yugoslavia's .YU domain.

At the same time, owners of domain names in the .NA zone will be able to obtain a domain of the same name in the .SX zone.
