ICANN is holding an online workshop

On August 31, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM Kyiv time, ICANN will host a webinar. The webinar will discuss the changes the organization is implementing to increase its accountability and transparency.

Anyone can take part in the seminar.

Attendees will hear about the work of the ICANN Board, Governmental Advisory Committee (GAC), Nominating Committee, the ICANN volunteer community, and staff to implement the recommendations developed by the Accountability and Transparency Review Team (ATRT) and approved by the Board.

In addition, the following aspects of the work will be discussed:

• the activities, operations and composition of the Management Board, including the processes of the Nomination Committee in the formation of the composition of the Management Board;

• the role and effectiveness of the Government Advisory Committee (GAC) and its interaction with the Board;

• public input into policy-making processes; and

• mechanisms for reviewing decisions of the Board.
