Moscow, January 19, 2010: Today, ICQ unveiled a new version of its instant messaging program, ICQ 7. One of Russia's largest instant messaging platforms, ICQ is introducing a new social messaging client that seamlessly integrates easy and fast communication with real-time updates from various news sites and social networks like Facebook and Twitter.

ICQ 7 offers optimal integration between users' personal communications and their online social life. Alongside their familiar ICQ contact list, users will see a separate tab with real-time news and updates from their friends across various social networks. Users no longer need to open their browser and visit each social network's website – now everything is right there in their ICQ. Users can also leave comments directly from ICQ, and they will be automatically sent to the corresponding social network.

Today, ICQ 7 offers integration with networks such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Flickr, and local Russian networks are preparing for integration.

ICQ 7 also introduces global user status updates with just one click. This means users can publish their personal status messages simultaneously across all supported social networks, all without leaving the convenient ICQ 7 interface.

ICQ 7 offers users an improved interface, and its software is fully compatible with all versions of Windows, including Windows 7. Other improvements include user-customizable color schemes to perfectly match your mood, a new user profile with updates from the user's social feeds and pictures shared with friends.

New features of ICQ 7

• My Status: ICQ status updates can be automatically displayed in a contact's ICQ profile and in profiles on supported social sites. The new status bar in ICQ also allows you to quickly and easily share images or links with friends.

• Friends' Feeds: Updates from the user's friends on leading social networks and content-sharing sites appear in real time in the "Friends' Feeds" tab of the contact list. Users can comment on these updates directly from ICQ, and the comment will appear on the corresponding social site. ICQ users can see updates from all their friends on various social networks, not just those who already have the ICQ client.

• My Box: The ICQ contact list tab "My Box" is where an ICQ user receives messages about all of their online activities: who commented on their status and on which site, who liked the uploaded .d.

• New User Profile: ICQ 7 introduces a new, more comprehensive user profile, both in the client and on the website. The user profile is a place for users to express themselves and showcase their uniqueness by displaying images and centralizing all their social interactions on a single page. Additionally, the new user profile allows ICQ users to see their friends' contact lists and add new contacts to their contact list, thereby expanding their circle of friends.

• Image Sharing Tool: A new program for sharing images with friends that provides fast, fun and unique options for sharing and viewing images.

• Faster, lighter: ICQ 7 performance has been significantly improved, installation time has been reduced by almost 50%, and the space required to install the client has been reduced by 30%.
