The InAU believes that the .UA domain reform will result in Kokhmanyuk's resignation.

EditionproIT reports, that after the completion of the .UA domain reform, its administrator, Dmytro Kokhmanyuk, will be forced to resign. The publication cites statements by Tatyana Popova, Chair of the Board of the Internet Association of Ukraine, made at the First Ukrainian Internet Governance Forum.

Tatyana Popova believes that the Ukrainian domain should have a new domain authority that complies with ICANN requirements. Furthermore, Popova does not rule out the possibility that ICANN will initiate a change of administrator in the Ukrainian domain zone.

The issue of redelegating the .UA domain has already been raised several times on the Ukrainian Internet. Specifically, the Ukrainian Network Information Center (UNIC) was the initiator of this issue.
