The .SECURE domain zone is being developed on the Internet.

Several IT security companies have initiated the creation of the .SECURE top-level domain extension. The idea's creators envision this top-level domain offering enhanced security measures. Website owners will be able to guarantee their visitors the security of various transactions.

Details of the .SECURE domain will be released once ICANN reopens its New gTLD application system.

However, it is currently known that the key feature of the .SECURE domain will be mandatory encryption for all online services. Furthermore, websites hosted in .SECURE will be scanned for malicious code. If a domain violates security rules, its delegation will be suspended until the deficiencies are corrected. Repeated violations result in the domain's delegation being revoked.

To register a domain, companies will need to provide the necessary documents and licenses for subsequent verification—compliance with the trademark, the company's physical address, and the company's incorporation documents.
