ICANN plans to reopen the discussion on the need for a dedicated .xxx domain extension for pornographic websites. The idea of ​​launching such a domain has been discussed several times. Three years ago, ICANN rejected the idea. Now, a second attempt is being made to launch a domain for pornographic websites.

On Friday, March 12th of this year, a discussion will take place on the feasibility of introducing a new domain. However, experts are quite skeptical about its feasibility – many will oppose it, primarily among moral advocates.

At the same time, ordinary internet users believe that such a domain zone would not be a problem, at least if it were to appear; for example, it would make it easier for parents to block content from minors.
