The search engine Nigma.ru announced that it had changed its name to the Russian "Нигма.РФ" and became available in the Cyrillic domain zone.

The project's creators believe that Russian-language users find it easier to remember a domain name than one written in Latin characters. Furthermore, the domain's location in the Russian segment of the internet suggests that the service is primarily aimed at RuNet users. According to company statistics, 71.64% of Nigma.RF users live in Russia, 14.91% in Ukraine, and approximately 6% in Kazakhstan and Belarus.

The company's management believes that Cyrillic domains will soon become available, which will lead to even greater popularization of the Russian Internet.
