A Chinese man has filed a lawsuit against Apple, alleging patent infringement.
The disputed patent concerns technologies for a "personal digital assistant over a voice network." A Chinese man accused Apple of infringing the patent in its Facetime video calling service.
The lawsuit against Apple was filed in the Intermediate People's Court. Apple representatives have not yet commented on the lawsuit.
According to the plaintiff, he filed an application for a patent back in 2003.
The trial is scheduled to begin in September of this year. Apple is a frequent target of litigation. Apple recently paid China's Proview Technology $60 million for the iPad trademark rights.
