New domain names will appear in the Chinese domain zone

Since May 31, 2011, Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited (HKIRC)begins internationalizationChinese domain names - users will be able to register an IDN name.

Registration began on February 22 and will run until March 10. Holders of existing non-Chinese domain names in Hong Kong (e.g., BRAND.com.hk) registered before January 23, 2011, will receive priority for the new Chinese domain name. These two domain names will be linked to share the same contact and registration information. They will be maintained, renewed, and transferred together.
