Makhost customers warned of another outage

A second shutdown of Makhost's servers is planned for tomorrow, April 16, around midday. This was announced by the owners of the Oversan-Mercury data center.

They explain their decision as follows: “Due to the lack of desire on the part of the Makhost company to find a favorable resolution to the debt situation with the Oversan-Mercury company and the Russian Space Systems JSC, the disconnection of internet access to resources located at the Makhost company’s facilities will take place on Friday, April 16, at 12:00 pm.”

Let us remind you that at the beginning of April the servers of the hosting provider MakHost weredisabledfor debts.

The owners of Oversan-Mercury claim that Makhost hasn't paid rent for the past six months and owes approximately $300,000-$500,000. The outage affected approximately 27,000 websites.
