GoDaddy is preparing a cloud service

GoDaddy, one of the largest hosting and domain registrars, is developing its own cloud service. The project will be called Data Center on Demand.

The service will be available in three basic packages. For $49.99 per month, you can get the Economy package, which includes one server with 1 GB of RAM and 40 GB of disk space.

The Deluxe package ($119.99) includes three of the same servers, while the Ultimate package for $279.99 includes six servers, half with 2GB of RAM and half with 1GB.

The service is currently available in testing mode. GoDaddy's cloud service is based on Cloud.com's development.
