Hustler will fight against attacks on .XXX domains.

Hustler is prepared to fight anyone who registers and sells .XXX domain names containing its trademarks.

"Like many other companies in the porn industry, Hustler will not allow its trademarks to be bought, sold, or used by anyone else, including the registrar, ICM. We are prepared to take any legal steps necessary to ensure this," says Michael Klein.

Moreover, it appears that Hustler is trying to initiate a dialogue with ICM Registry through its lawyers.

"We constantly monitor attempts to register and use domain names aimed at capitalizing on the Hustler trademark. ICM's silence is rather strange, especially given that ICM's purported goal is to actively work to balance the rights of existing domain name and trademark holders, as well as intellectual property owners," said Jonathan Brown, Hustler's attorney.

Hustler is the name of a famous pornographic magazine for men, published since 1974 by Larry Flynt.
