Russian company Mail.ru Group has begun negotiations to purchase the Mail.ua domain. This domain will host the company's email and other services.

The domain is currently owned by Internet Invest Group. The Mail.ua address hosts an email service with approximately 500,000 registered users. The purchase of the Mail.ua domain could also lead to the integration of the Ukrainian and Russian companies' services.

Mail.ru Group has been operating in Ukraine since 2009. The company has an office in Kyiv.
