VeriSign analyzed the domain market in 2011.
The number of domain registrations grew by 10% in 2011. This and other data are presented in a report by VeriSign entitled "Domain Name Industry Brief."
The total number of registered domain names worldwide grew by almost 6 million and exceeded 225 million names across all domain zones.
