Microsoft wins domain dispute over MicrosoftCarService.com

Microsoft recently won a domain name dispute against 500 Cars Ltd.

The corporation filed a complaint with the National Arbitration Forum, claiming that it has legal rights to the disputed domain name, MicrosoftCarService.com.

Microsoft explained its right to the domain by the registered trademarks it owned, and the disputed domain was “confusingly similar to its trademark.”

In addition, the corporation alleged that the defendant registered and used the disputed domain name in bad faith.
