Last week, ICANN published a list of applications for New gTLDs – new top-level domains.

Most applicationswas submitted for the following top-level domains: .APP, .Home, .INC, .ART, .SHOP.

In addition, the following domains have generated great interest:

.HOME – 11 applications, including Google and GoDaddy

.INC – 11 applications

.ART - 10 applications

.BLOG – 9 applications, including Google

.BOOK – 9 applications, including Google and Amazon.com

.HOTEL - 9 applications (including the .HOTELES domain)

.LLC – 9 applications, including Google

.SHOP – applications, among the contenders is Amazon.com (plus 2 applications for the .SHOPPING domain)

.DESIGN - 8 applications

.MOVIE – 8 applications, among the contenders are Amazon.com and Google,

.MUSIC – 8 applications, including Amazon.com
