First, think of a domain name. If you already haveThere is a domain on NIC.UA, go to your account in the sectionDomains, and look at what's written in the NS column next to the domain you need. If the status is "managed NS," then you can proceed tosetting up a domain.

If there is a different status:

1. Check the box next to the desired domain and click the "Change name servers (NS)" button.
2. In the first step, select “NIC.UA Name Server” from the list and click the “Install for selected domains” button.
3. Below, in the second step, click the "Submit a request to change name servers" button.
4. Once the "NS" field displays "managed NS" and the order status changes to "active", you can proceed to setting up the domain.

If you already have a domain, but it is with a different registrar,Transfer your domain to NIC.UA or order name servers (NS).

What to specify in a domain

Now, to set up your domain correctly, go to your account in the section"Name Servers (NS)", check the box next to the desired domain and click the "Edit DNS records" button.

By default, the list shows the following entries:

• Name: @, Type: A, Data: [IP address];
• Name: www, Type: A, Data: [IP address];
• Name: ftp, Type: CNAME, Data: [domain name].

Further down the page, there's a section called "New Records." To redirect the domain, add two records like this:

• Name: @, Type: Permanent redirect, URL:http://[link to your social network profile]
• Name: www, Type: Permanent redirect, URL:http://[link to your social network profile]

The "@" record is designed to redirect a domain without the www prefix, while the second "www" record is designed to redirect a domain with the www prefix. If you see a "Record Conflict" error when adding the record, delete the records that have this error so you can add new redirect records. To delete records, check the box in the "Delete" column and click "Save and return to editing."

After entering the data for the new entries, click the "Save and return to editing" button and verify that the entries have been added and there are no error messages. Everything should work fine after a while.
