The German .DE domain has surpassed 14 million registrations.

There are over 14 million names registered in the German .DE domain. The German domain surpassed this mark a few days ago. According to data from the domain administrator DENIC, there are currently 14,008,167 domains registered in the .DE domain zone.

At this rate of new domain name creation, and given the decline in the number of domains registered in the Chinese domain zone, the German .DE zone could become the largest in the world.
