NIC.UA awarded the main prize of its New Year's promotion – a netbook.

As a reminder, on January 9, a netbook was raffled off among 15 finalists in Kyiv.New Year's promotionNIC.UA held a competition during which all finalists received incentive prizes and the winner was determined. The winner was Vladimir Babichev (Donetsk), who was not present at the drawing.

Unfortunately, Vladimir was unable to come pick up his gift within a month, so it was decided to give the netbook to the finalist who was one step away from victory.

On the NIC.UA website alreadywas describedThe drawing system: balls with the names of the participants were drawn from the lottery machine one by one, and the final ball determined the winner. Thus, the registrar awarded the grand prize to Andrey Volkov (Dnipropetrovsk), whose ball was the second-to-last one drawn.

On February 7, NIC.UA met with the new winner of the New Year's promotion and presented the promised netbook.

"I'm very pleased, especially since I didn't expect things to turn out this way. I've never won a sweepstakes before. But I still think it was a great idea to go to Kyiv that time. After talking with the finalists (almost all of whom were web developers) and the head of NIC.UA, I drew sound and useful conclusions about organizing and running an IT business in our field, and I'm already actively implementing them. As a result, according to our calculations, the planned profit from implementing these innovations by the end of the year will be several times greater than the value of the prize."
