Nintendo has been able to obtain control of the SuperMario.com domain, which until recently belonged to a third party.

Nintendo only gained control of the domain after filing a complaint with the US National Arbitration Forum. Remarkably, the domain owner agreed to transfer the domain even before the formal hearing.

The SuperMario.com domain was registered in February 1996 and until recently hosted a parking page.
