Nokia sold over 500 patents for $22 million.
Vringo entered into an agreement with Nokia to acquire over 500 patents and patent applications, including over a hundred issued in the US.
The patents cover cellular network infrastructure, including communication and data management technologies, as well as signal transmission, mobile device management, frequency resources, and services. A number of patents also relate to 2G, 3G, and 4G technologies, including GSM, WCDMA, DECT, and LTE.
The deal was valued at $22 million.
