Nokia continues to file lawsuits against Apple
Nokia has filed another lawsuit against mobile phone and computer maker Apple. This isn't the first lawsuit against Apple. Nokia previously accused Apple of infringing its own patents, which were used in the creation of the iPod and iPhone. Now, Nokia has brought similar claims regarding the iPad tablet computer.
Nokia claims that the Apple iPad infringes five of its patents. These patents relate to advanced data and voice communications technology, the use of positioning systems in apps, and several others.
Nokia emphasizes that these patents enable the creation of products with improved performance and design, making them extremely important to the company.
Apple shares fell 2% after being notified of another lawsuit against the company.
