According to the analytics company Netcraft, in November 2011 the number of websites on the Internet was 525,998,433. This is 4.3% or 22 million more than in October.

The report's authors noted that Apache was the most popular web server in November, increasing the number of websites it served by 15.9 million.

The Microsoft IIS server lost its resource base, while the Nginx server increased its base by 0.86%.

Google's server also lost about 0.09% of the total number of resources it served.
