Cloud computing is unknown to small businesses.

According to a report from Newtek Business Services (NBS), most small and medium-sized businesses have not heard of cloud computing.

More than 70% of small businesses surveyed by NBS had never heard of cloud computing and were unfamiliar with how it works.

The specialists at these companies never used cloud file storage or backups on remote servers. Only 29% of companies had ever used file storage on remote servers.

Analysts are confident that cloud services will be able to develop thanks to advertising support from large companies such as Microsoft and Cisco, which are expected to engage in educational activities among small and medium-sized businesses.
