Cloud services do not comply with licensing agreements

Analysts from the Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS) at Queen Mary Law School, University of London, examined 31 licensing agreements between cloud computing companies.

As a result of this study, it turned out that most companies do not comply with these agreements.

Many points of this agreement are quite controversial and even dangerous.

Many companies claim they are not responsible for the security or safety of user data. Others claim they reserve the right to delete all information if the service is not used for a long time, or simply do so without explanation.

Some agreements state that cloud service providers can provide data to third parties not only in response to a court order, but also in response to any request from law enforcement agencies.
