RIM, LG, Nokia, and HTC receive patent claims

Flashpoint Technology has filed a patent infringement lawsuit with the U.S. International Trade Commission against RIM, LG Electronics, Nokia, and HTC.

These companies are infringing patents on digital camera technology used in smartphone production. Flashpoint is demanding a ban on the import of several devices that use such technology. These include the Nokia 5230 Nuron, RIM Blackberry Storm2 9550, HTC Droid Incredible, HTC MyTouch 3G, LG Ally, and LG Expo GW820.

Flashpoint has not been involved in the production of digital imaging technology since 2007.
