Patent disputes between Nokia and Apple continue

At the end of last year, a patent dispute erupted between Nokia and Apple: Nokia accused Apple of using its technology in the creation of the iPhone. The lawsuit was accompanied by a complaint filed by Nokia with the US International Trade Commission (ITC).

In its complaint, Nokia seeks a ban on the introduction and sale in the United States of devices such as the iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch, iPod Nano, iPod Classic, iMac, Mac Pro, Mac Mini, MacBook, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air. Nokia claims these devices utilized the company's patented technologies, including patents covering user interfaces, power management circuits, input/output technologies, and many others.

According to Nokia representatives, each Apple device infringes up to seven or more patents of the mobile company.
