Algorithm for transferring a site from Tilda

Go to the "Site Settings" section in the Tilda admin panel:

3. In the same section, go to the "Export" tab and click "Download zip archive". That is, we start exporting the site.

Advanced users can set special export settings (image path, js path, etc.) by clicking the “Download Special Features” button.

4. The download conditions will appear - you can read them again and click the "Start export" button.

5. Once the download indicator shows 100%, a link to the file will appear.

6.  Click on the link and the ZIP archive will start downloading to your computer.

7. To check the received file, unpack the archive - a folder with your site's files should appear. You will see the files something like this:

You already have your own hosting, now you need to transfer the site archive to it. You need to upload the archive to the site directory yourself using FTP or through File Manager.

For example, here's how to do it in cPanel. This is a convenient control panel that is included in the hosting for the website from NIC.UA. If you chose DirectAdmin when ordering hosting, the algorithm of actions will be very similar.

1. Go to cPanel → "Files" section → "File Manager"

2. Find the domain folder. The folder for the main domain is called public_html (for the secondary one it is usually called the domain name). This folder should be empty (if there is anything there, delete all the files).

3. Select the domain (main or additional, if any) for which you want to upload the site. Click "Upload".

4. Select the downloaded archive with the site files from Tilda, click Select File → in the domain folder, click on the archive and select Extract → Extract Files.

6. After unpacking, delete the archive with the site.

7. Find the new folder after unpacking the archive, click “Select All” → “Move”.

8. Choose the location where you want to move the public_html file.

From the unzipped folder, move the files to the domain folder. Click "Select All", hover over the file and right-click → Move → delete the folder name (/test-site), and leave the domain folder name (/public_html).

9. Done. Now all that's left is to find the filehtaccessand rename it to.htaccess.

It may stop showing for a while - it's not a big deal. You need to go to the "Settings" section (top right), select "Show hidden files".
