IDN domains were discussed on the first day of the registrar and administrator conference.

During the first day of the fourth international conference of administrators and registrars of national domains of the CIS, Central and Eastern Europe, legal issues of managing national domains were discussed, and a section was also held on domain names in national languages ​​and the New gTLD program.

Alex Mayrhofer, NIC.AT (.at), one of the authors of the "Applicant Guidebook" spoke at this session.

Svetlana Tkachenko, a representative of the Ukrainian company Hostmaster, spoke about the implementation and use of IDN domains in the .UA segment.

Sergey Sharikov from Webnames summarized the current experience of implementing IDNs in Russia and Ukraine and spoke about the .УКР domain.
