Paul Allen is in court again over patents.

Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen has filed another lawsuit against major internet companies. The lawsuit names Apple, Google, and Facebook.

Paul Allen believes that these companies are violating his and Microsoft's rights by using illegally patented technologies.

As a reminder, Paul Allen filed his initial lawsuit this summer. However, it was dismissed because it did not specify the specific technologies at issue.

In the new lawsuit, Paul Allen stated that the issue concerns technologies for analyzing and classifying information, including the selection and display of targeted advertising, news, and even music tracks.

Paul Allen is demanding compensation for damages the company suffered due to license violations. So far, only Facebook has commented on the lawsuit, stating that they are prepared to fight in court.
