PRESIDENT.RF named website of the year

The 2010 Google Trend Award named the domain PRESIDENT.RF as the Site of the Year. This was the first time Google Trend had introduced this category. The competition featured 15 categories: athlete, actor, film, passion, question of the year, and others. This year, Google decided to add a Site of the Year category. To select the winner, the Google team analyzed numerous queries made by internet users in 2010.

The winners of each category were symbolized by ice sculptures, which could be seen in Gorky Park. The ice sculpture representing the Website of the Year category was shaped like the Kremlin's Spasskaya Tower and the .РФ domain name.
