The number of names in the .UZ domain zone increased by 16%.

During 2010, the number of domain names in the Uzbekistan domain zone increased by 16%.

In December 2009, the number of domains here was 9.95 thousand, and in December 2010 – 11.08 thousand.

In absolute terms, the increase in the number of new domain names amounted to 1.5 thousand unique names, while 4.6 thousand new names were registered, and 3.1 thousand were deregistered and deleted.

In the record year of 2007, the growth rate of the number of registered domains was 60%, in 2008 – 32%, and in 2009 – 26%.
