Russian internet providers are blocking access to pirated websites without a court order.

The websites were blocked at the request of the copyright holder, Central Partnership, which owns the rights to the film "Wedding Exchange."

A total of seven websites were blocked. Access was restricted to resources where the film could be downloaded.

Some websites were located abroad, specifically in the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. Since Russian law enforcement agencies are unable to interfere with foreign websites, Department "K" decided to block access to such resources through backbone providers.

Some providers blocked access, and Department "K" plans to file complaints with Roskomnadzor against those who refused to comply with the department's demands.

The main feature of the current situation is that the blocking was requested and carried out without any court decision.
