Friday's video: How to easily break an iPad

UK authorities have imposed large fines on the owners of the domains "twtter" and "wikapedia", whose names are similar to Twitter and Wikipedia.

These domains hosted websites whose design resembled the real resources; in particular, the domains used the same logos and color scheme.

When browsing the site, users saw a message on the screen informing them they had won a valuable prize. In exchange, visitors were asked to provide their mobile phone number.

To win, users were asked to take a survey. Submitting a single response meant debiting approximately £1.50 from their mobile phone account.

The owners of these websites were fined £100,000 (approximately $156,000). Furthermore, a judicial investigation was launched against the perpetrators.
