Domain Registration in November: KIEV.UA Starts and Wins

Hostmaster has released statistics on registrations in Ukrainian domain zones for November of this year. This month can be considered one of the most active on the Ukrainian internet – the total number of domains increased by almost 7,500 names. This is three times more than the previous month. These statistics may indicate a certain recovery in the market.

Registrants were active both for the traditional .COM.UA domain zone and for the .KIEV.UA domain – for the first time this year.

The .UA domain zone

In September, the number of domains in the .UA zone increased by 201, reaching 10,400. This number exceeds the number of registrations in the previous two months.

In November, according to Hostmaster, Internet Invest was the leader in the number of registrations, DNS-Ukraine LLC took second place, and Service Online LLC moved up two positions in third place.

In addition, the top five included ChP "Thomas" and OOO "Alaid Standard Limited".

Places from sixth to tenth were taken by Premium Group Ukraine LLC, a newcomer to the rating, Ukraine-Host LLC, Adamant LLC, Freehost LLC, and Geonik Net LLC.

Domain zone .COM.UA

The number of new domains in this domain zone in November almost reached 5,000. This is more than in the previous two months combined.

By the end of November, the number of websites in this domain zone exceeded 193 thousand.

According to November data, the leaders in terms of registrations in this domain zone remained unchanged. First place goes to Internet Invest, second to Service Online LLC, and third to Freehost LLC. Rounding out the top five are Allied Standard Limited LLC and Hostpro LLC.

In addition, based on the results of November, the following registrars entered the top 10: Delta-X LLC, Vladimir Vasilievich Gubarenko, DNS-Ukraine LLC, Center for Internet Names of Ukraine LLC, and Vyacheslav Yurievich Cherkashin, a private enterprise.

The .KIEV.UA domain zone

This domain zone can confidently be called a true leader in the rankings. Over a thousand new domain names—a number not seen in the .KIEV.UA domain zone before this year. This is more than double the number of domains registered in .KIEV.UA in September.

The top three registrars for the .KIEV.UA domain were once again Internet Invest, Freehost, and Service Online, with Delta-X and Hostpro taking fourth and fifth place.

The following registrars shared places from sixth to tenth: Elaid Standard Limited LLC, DNS-Ukraine LLC, Sergei Vladimirovich Mesiura, 1 GB LLC, and Center for Internet Names of Ukraine LLC.
