Registrar ratings: stable April and sleepy May
Fewer domains were registered in May than in April. But the same registrars remained the leaders.
In April, the number of domains in the Uanetexceeded504 thousand at the end of Mayincreasewas not so significant – the total number of domains was 507.6 thousand.
The lull in business activity in May affected the absolute number of registrations. However, the changes had virtually no impact on the final registrar rankings.
The .UA domain zone
In May, the number of domains in the .UA zone increased by 145, with a growth rate of only 1.5%. April's figures were better, with an absolute increase of 256 and a relative growth of 2.8%.
According to the results of April, the company Ukrnet LLC entered the top ten leaders of the .UA domain zone, taking eighth place.
The top five registrars remained virtually unchanged. According to Hostmaster, Internet Invest remains the leader in the number of registrations in the .UA second-level domain. DNS-Ukraine LLC took second place, while Allied Standard Limited LLC came in third. Fourth place went to Tomas Private Enterprise, and fifth to Service Online LLC.
There were some changes among the leaders of the second five. Patent Attorneys' Bureau PatentService LTD moved into eighth place. The other companies in the top 10 included Freehost, Geonik Net, Ukraine-Host, and Valentin Vyacheslavovich Soloviev, a sole proprietor. These registrar rankings are based on the results of May.
Domain zone COM.UA
The growth rate of domains in the .COM.UA zone has decreased slightly compared to the data of previous months.
Thus, in March, the number of .COM.UA domains increased by 4,200, in April by 3,300, and in May by 1,800. The growth rate in April was 1.9%, and in May by 1% (compared to 2.5% in March). The total number of websites in this domain zone exceeded 177,000.
The leaders in this domain zone remained unchanged: Internet Invest leads in the number of registrations, followed by Service Online LLC and Freehost LLC in third place. Elaid Standard Limited LLC and Hostpro LLC also rounded out the top five. This top five has been maintained for the fourth consecutive month.
The remaining five places were taken by registrars DNS-Ukraine LLC, V.V. Gubarenko, 1 Gb LLC, Sergey Vladimirovich Mesyura, and Delta-X LLC.
In April, the company Ukrnet LLC was in sixth place in terms of the number of registrations.
KIEV.UA domain zone
In April, the number of websites in the .KIEV.UA domain increased by 604 to 43,900, representing a growth rate of 1.39%. In May, the number of websites in this domain increased by 273, representing a growth rate of 0.6%.
The top three registrars for the .KIEV.UA domain once again included the companies "Internet Invest", Service Online LLC, DNS-Ukraine LLC. Fourth place went to Freehost LLC, and fifth to Hostpro LLC.
Allied Standard Limited LLC ranked sixth, and Delta-X ranked seventh. Adamant LLC, Konstantin Vladimirovich Kravchenko (ua.hvosting), and Ukraine-Host LLC (ua.host) also made the top 10.
In April, the top 10 also included sole proprietor Maksym Leonidovych Rivtin and Ukrnet LLC.

Thus, the registration dynamics in April and May remained virtually unchanged in the top two positions across the three domain zones. As before, Internet Invest and Service Online remain in the lead.
At the end of April, the third place in the overall ranking was occupied by the private enterprise "Freehost", but in May this position was taken by the company "DNS-Ukraine".
A notable feature of the April results was the presence of Ukrnet, which demonstrated active operations. However, in May, the company failed to make it into the top 10 registrars.
