Ru-Center has become an accredited Russian registrar of domains in the .XXX porn zone. The company has received the right to sell such domain names to Russian users.

The .XXX priority registration period will begin on September 7 and end on October 28. During this period, three categories of users will be able to submit applications for .XXX names: owners of trademarks registered before September 1, 2011; those seeking a domain name confusingly similar to their second- or third-level domain name in other zones; and owners of exclusive rights to all other trademarks registered before September 1, 2011.

In the .XXX domain, you can register a domain for future use or lock it to prevent someone else from using the name for their own domain.

Open registration for .XXX is scheduled to begin on December 7, 2011.
