A "Virtual Registrar" has appeared on the RuNet.

The Internet Technical Center (ITC) has launched the "Virtual Registrar" system. The Coordination Center for the National Internet Domain (CC) was the first to test it.

The KC recently acted as a registrar for the registration of several hundred second-level domains in the Cyrillic .РФ zone for government purposes. About 200 of these remain unallocated, and the "Virtual Registrar" will allow the KC to manage their transfer to other registrars.

The project's creators emphasize that the product was developed by TCI programmers in response to numerous requests from companies interested in starting a registrar business. Thanks to the "Virtual Registrar" project, start-up companies will no longer have to spend money on programmers, but will instead be able to use a ready-made, streamlined system.

The new "Virtual Registrar" product is a web service running on the Technical Center's servers. There is no fixed price for clients: the cost of services is negotiable and may depend on the number of transactions.
