Georgian-language domains will appear on the Internet

Georgian-language domains will soon be available online. ICANN has already approved this as part of its ongoing process to introduce domain names in national languages.

A program for introducing national language domains was reviewed in Georgia. The program was presented at the Georgian National Communications Regulatory Commission.

The launch of domain names written in non-Latin scripts is causing a number of problems in the country's internet space. The Russian segment of the internet, where registrations in the .РФ domain zone have already begun, is currently experiencing such a difficult period.
