File-sharing religion officially recognized in Sweden

Swedish authorities have officially recognized the religion of Kopimism. A group called the "Church of Kopimism" has been registered. The name of this religion is a translation of the English words "copy" and "me."

The ideology of this religion provides for the free exchange of information, in addition, the religion is against the protection of copyright.

The sacred symbols of the Kopimist Church are the keyboard shortcuts CTRL+C and Ctrl+V. The religion was founded by philosophy student Isak Gerson. It was only after his third attempt that he received official recognition for his ideology.

Isak Gerson believes that followers of the religion will be able to avoid "persecution" for their beliefs, but experts believe that adherence to this religion will not protect counterfeiters in court.
