The second meeting of .UA domain administrators and registrars took place.

Today, the second meeting of Ukrainian domain market participants took place. As a reminder,first meetingThe meeting took place three weeks ago, on June 2. The issue of the .UA domain Administrator's legal capacity was raised. During the first meeting, the drafting of a document—an agreement between the .UA domain Administrator and the administrators of Ukraine's public domains—was planned.

.UA domain administrator Dmitry Kokhmanyuk did not attend the second meeting. In comments to Infonic, Kokhmanyuk stated that his absence was due to poor health. He added that he apologized to everyone present for this.

The meeting's initiators—the working group, representatives of the InAU, and registrars—decided to give the .UA domain administrator another week. July 2, 2010, is the date Kokhmanyuk is required to submit an agreement formalizing the relationship between all administrators. If work on the agreement isn't completed within this timeframe and the document isn't prepared and agreed upon, a collective letter will be drafted to ICANN regarding the incapacity of the .UA domain administrator. The letter will be authored by the InAU, the Ukrainian Union of Entrepreneurs and Industrialists (USPP), and all interested registrars and administrators of public domains.
