To register a business page, you must first create an account or use your existing one. Don't worry about the privacy of your personal information; it won't be visible on your business page.
Steps to create a business page on Facebook:
1. Registration
Go tolinkand click "Start".
In the "Create a Page" section, enter the name of your company, brand, or organization—this is how people will find your business.
Then select a category to describe the type of company, organization, or industry you work in, and a subcategory to describe your page in more detail.
If your business falls into more than one category, choose the one that customers are most likely to associate you with.
Next you need to specify the addresswebsiteor skip this window if your company does not have it yet.
2. Image
In the next step, Facebook asks you to add a profile picture and page cover image. An image can make a positive or negative first impression, so it's important to choose carefully. The image should be consistent with your brand and identify with your business. It will appear in search results and be seen by users when they interact with your page.
For an already recognizable brand, using a logo as a profile picture is optimal. Famous people use their own logo. For small businesses, an image of their signature product or service is suitable. It's important to help users immediately identify your page or understand what you offer.
Your profile image will display at 170*170 pixels on desktop and 128*128 pixels on mobile. When selecting an image, keep in mind that it will be cropped into a circle.
The page cover image should reflect the brand's essence and personality. It should be at least 400*150 pixels in size, with the recommended size being 720*315 pixels.
At this point, you can already say you've created a business page. But this is just the beginning; to attract an audience, the page still needs some work.
3. Username for the page
Your username, or URL, allows people to find you on Facebook. It's allowed to be 50 characters long, but it's best to keep it short to make it easier to type and remember. Your business name or a clear variation of it is ideal.
