The creators of Skype and Kazaa are preparing a new music service, Rdio.
Janus Friis and Niklas Zennström, creators of the file-sharing service Kazaa and the popular VoIP program Skype, are preparing a new music service, Rdio.
The project will be available to users at the beginning of 2010, but the service is already available in a limited beta version.
The service allows you to stream music using a browser. Along with the launch of the online version, the developers also released a client for iPhone. This version can connect to music collections, search for tracks, and create playlists.
There are many online services operating in this market that want to compete with the most popular broadcasting tools – iTunes and Last.FM.
