The court ordered Apple to provide Samsung with access to contracts and source code.

Samsung was able to convince the court of the need to gain access to a number of important documents.

According to the court's ruling, Apple must disclose its agreements with Australian mobile operators. The South Korean company claims that the agreements stipulate early payment to Apple for delivered phones, which limits the companies' funds for purchasing devices from other manufacturers, particularly Samsung.

Samsung also successfully compelled the court to compel Apple to disclose the source code for its iPhone firmware. According to the South Korean company's experts, this code contains evidence that Apple is infringing Samsung's patents. However, the resulting code listing is missing one page that Samsung's lawyers believe may contain evidence.

As a reminder, Samsung and Apple have been battling patent infringement for over six months. Apple's efforts have been more successful so far, having secured bans on the sale of several Samsung devices in several countries.
