Additionally, the service's administrators identified the top topics in various categories. In the "Technology" category, the top topics were "Google Wave," "Snow Leopard," "Tweetdeck," "Windows 7," CES, "Palm Pre," "Google Latitude," E3, "Amazon Fail," and "MacWorld."

Among the most popular personalities among Twitter users were Michael Jackson, Christian Bale, Chuck Norris and Tiger Woods.

Among the most talked about films are the Harry Potter films, New Moon, Transformers, Slumdog Millionaire, District 9, and Watchmen.
