UA-IX has added a new root DNS server, F-ROOT.

UA-IX specialists have connected another root DNS server, F-ROOT, to the system.

As a result, Ukrainian internet users will have more reliable access to the internet. This will ensure that the national internet segment operates more reliably even in emergency situations, such as damage to international highways.

F-ROOT is the second DNS server to be included in UA-IX in 2011. In June of this year, the I-ROOT root server was included in UA-IX.
