The success of the .РФ domain zone: a place in the top twenty European domains

The Russian domain extension .РФ entered the top twenty largest Russian domain extensions within the first 24 hours. More than 250,000 domain names were registered in the domain within the first day of its registration.

Among European domain zones, the German .DE and the British .UK domain zones lead in terms of registered domains. Each has 13 million and 8 million registered domains, respectively. The main Russian domain, .RU, is among the top ten domain names, with 3 million registered domains.
