.LV domain owners can get the .LV.MOBI domain

The administrators of the Latvian national domains NIC.LV and dotMOBI have linked the domain ending .MOBI to the national domain .LV.

This means that every .LV domain owner can register a .LV.MOBI domain for free. .MOBI domains are used for websites designed for mobile phones.

The Latvian domain administrator is confident that this will encourage website owners to create mobile versions of their web projects.
