The World Intellectual Property Organization has launched a search service for IP documents.

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has launched a new service – the projectWIPO LexThe service is a search engine for intellectual property documents. Searches are conducted across documents from member countries of WIPO, the UN, the WTO, and a number of other organizations. This makes the service a global information system for intellectual property.

In total, WIPO Lex includes documents from over 60 countries. Furthermore, WIPO Lex provides access to documents from countries that have not yet developed their own databases of national legislation.

For the first time in the world, WIPO has compiled the texts of intellectual property laws and treaties of all member states in one place and made them accessible in a convenient form, as well as providing search capabilities.

With WIPO Lex, you can search by country, organization, or subject. Full-text searching of document content is also available.
