Wikileaks lost its domain and received mirrors

Late last week, the controversial Wikileaks website lost its previous domain name, wikileaks.org, due to actions by the American DNS provider EveryDNS.net. Commenting on its decision, the hosting provider stated that it had terminated service to the site in accordance with its terms of service. Company representatives believe such active DDoS attacks could negatively impact other EveryDNS customers.

Following this, Wikileaks changed its domain name to Wikileaks.ch.

In addition, the project's creators announced that Wikileaks has become available on a number of mirror sites - Wikileaks.de, Wikileaks.fi, Wikileaks.nl, and this list will be expanded.
